The Department of Mathematics was incepted in 1968 and offered an undergraduate programme in Mathematics. The department provided an academic platform for students who have a flair for Mathematical skill. The postgraduate programme was started in the year 2004.The Department is equipped with UG, PG and Research facilities enhanced by 5 Doctorate faculties. Academic excellence being the vision, the department conducts Seminars, Workshops and Symposia to update mathematical trends and applications in the teaching- learning process
