The computer lab provides computer and internet facilities to students and college staff in our college. Computers in computer labs are typically equipped with internet access.

The computer lab Assistant regularly updates the IT facilities such as hardware, software and networking as per the requirements.

The authorized license copies of Windows XP and MS office pro plus-2019 are upgraded.

Apart from these the apparatus for handling Physiology & Ecology like Ganong’s respiroscope, Wilmot’s bubble counter Rain gauze, maximum & minimum thermometer, wet & dry bulb thermometer, soil thermometer,. Regular practicals are handled every day in both the labs periodically as they form the base for gaining adequate knowledge In Botany. The lab also has storage of medicinal products from leaves to fruits and herbarium sheets of the families included in both PG & UG syllabi. The Lab has the equipments like laminar chamber, colorimeter.

Students of second year B.Sc. Botany are using a full-fledged Zoology lab for their allied zoology practical. The zoology lab is well equipped for doing experiments in taxonomy, cell biology, genetics, physiology, and biochemistry. It is facilitated with high-tech tools like a digital balance, a digital pH meter, a centrifuge, double beam spectrophotometer and so on.

Laboratory practices enable students to learn more about applied science relevant to everyday life. Our Physics Laboratory is well equipped with a consistent power supply of the required voltage. It has sufficient number of instruments and high – tech apparatus such as the Spectrometer, Potentiometer, Travelling microscope, Sonometer etc. for the use of students.

Chemistry has great importance in life. It is very significant for students to understand lab experiments. Chemistry laboratory is a place where students are introduced to an exciting field to explore the knowledge of using chemicals. Our laboratories with advanced facilities aid and inspire our students first – hand learning experience by performing various experiment. The lab is adequately equipped with apparatus to perform different tasks.

The language lab at Providence College for Women focuses on developing effective language skills in students. The lab is based on the methodology of LSRW skills that are listening, speaking, reading and writing. This digital lab allows participants to learn and experiment the modules practically. The methodology used helps students to build their confidence and proficiency in the language.
