Department of Economics started in the year 1967. Our programme provides students with an advanced training in core areas of Economics,  while also enabling them to specialize according to their interest.  They reflect the rapid expansion of the subject in recent years and deal with topical issues.  A deep understanding of Economics is a key to our continuing function as a global economy helping to establish successful trade,  monetary and welfare policies across our nations. Our department provides value added courses like EDP and Tally classes.
