The Department of Tamil was incepted in the year 1966 and keeps marching forward for the
progression of the department. The department is headed by Dr.MALARVIZHI.F, Associate
Professor of tamil along with faculty members Dr.P.AMUTHA, Assistant
Professor,Dr.GUNASEELI.J Assistant Professor.The course is spread over the first four
semesters.The development of students communication skill is given prime importance while
planning the curriculum.As a department we are committed to providing a love for learning,
promoting critical and ethical reflection and developing sensitivity towards a sustainable
environment
