The institution ensures the overall welfare of the students. As a part of student endowment excellence, a Student Welfare Committee has been administered to identify and motivate students who are in economical crises. Financial support is provided with the following Scholarships

4. Welfare Department Scholarship for Backward / Most Backward class community (low-income group)

SCHOLARSHIP
The main objective of the student welfare committee for the academic year 2025-2026 ensure access to necessary facilitates and maintains records of student progress. The committee was formed under the leadership of Dr. Buvaneswari M, Mr. Vimal Kumar is the Nodal Officer. The members are Mrs. Shanthi M, Ms. Evangeline Sherly J, Dr. Indumathy, Mrs. Gayathri N, Dr. Bhagyasree G, Mrs. Praveena C, Mrs. Priyanka Rajamani, Mrs. Salma J and Ms. Swathi S.
“Reg-uzhavar, BC Scholarship Meeting,”
The first meeting was held on 1st July 2025. The meeting “Reg-uzhavar, BC Scholarship Meeting,” was conducted to guide students on Reg‑Uzhavar registration and BC Scholarship procedures. Clear instructions were provided to ensure timely applications. Students were encouraged to make use of the opportunities effectively. On 15th July 2025, a demonstration session explained the Aadhaar seeding process via the NPCI portal. Students were assisted in linking their bank accounts. This step ensured smooth scholarship disbursement.
Government Laptop Distribution
Government laptops were distributed under the state scheme on 2nd January 2026. The initiative promoted digital learning and academic development. Students benefited from enhanced access to technology. On 30th January 2026, the second phase of laptop distribution was carried out. Remaining eligible students received their devices. This ensured inclusivity and equal academic support. On 19th February 2026, laptops were formally distributed to designated recipients. The event marked the completion of the scheduled academic support initiative. Students expressed gratitude for the timely assistance.
Pudhumai Penn Thittam Scholarship
Pudhumai Penn Thittam Scholars Meeting was held on the 2nd December 2025 and all the details regarding the Pudhumai Penn Thittam Scholarship was discussed. Eligible students were encouraged to apply promptly. Documentation support was provided for smooth completion
