The Department of Hindi was started in the year 1966.The department at present is Headed by
Dr.REKHA.R S, Assistant Professor. The Department promotes Hindi language and Literature in
the non-Hindi speaking areas.The Department focus is on interdisciplinary approaches of
studies.The Department of Hindi has always aspired to provide academic excellence in a vibrant
environment that helps one experience life abundantly.
