The Department of French headed by Lt CYNTHIA GEORGE was established in the year 1966 ever since the
founding of the college. Equal importance is give to all the four aspects of language learning namely –
Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. Syllabus is refurbished every year in accordance to CECRL.
Students are motivated to participate in intra and inter collegiate French competitions and programs.
Higher education and career guidance counseling is being given to our French students at various
Universities. Memorandums of Understanding are signed with Universities abroad to facilitate student/
staff exchange
