Autonomy Visit

The autonomy expert committee from the UGC comprising of 6 experts visited the college on the 6th and 7th of February 2021 to evaluate the college for eligibility of the autonomous status. They were convinced with the facilities that are at the college’s disposal and the documentations that are mandatory for the granting of autonomy. We have now received directions for the implemenation of the said autonomous status from the academic year 2012/22, for a period of ten years. It is a tremendous milestone reached as the result of a collective and cohesive effort by the teaching and non teaching staff, parents and well wishers, present students and the alumni. With this grant, the college will have the power to design its own unique curriculum which will be local based and skill based. More certificate courses can be introduced and hoping to sign MOU’s with national and international organisations to increase the quality and also provide with much needed exposure
